Botox

Botox is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows for a short period of time. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes those lines to form between the brows.

Years of squinting, concentrating, or frowning can cause your skin to furrow and crease. As time passes your skin becomes less elastic and those moderate to severe frown lines between your brows remain, even when your muscles aren’t contracting.

• Botox will not radically change your facial appearance or make you look as if you’ve “work done”
• You will still be able to frown or look surprised, but without the wrinkles
• Within 24 to 48 hours you may notice a softening in the appearance of your moderate to severe frown lines
• Results can last 3 months sometimes up to 4 months depending on how quickly your body metabolizes the product
• Can also treat the forehead wrinkles, crows feet (wrinkles at corner of the eyes), brow lift and for excessive sweating
